<p rend="indent0" xml:id="par3">In obedience to <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> Order of Reference of M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Le Clerk<supplied reason="copy">s</supplied> <lb xml:id="l2"/>Petition to succeed M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Harris in the place of Graver to her <lb xml:id="l3"/><choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Mint<del type="cancelled"><unclear reason="del" cert="medium">,</unclear></del> we have considered the same, and are humbly <lb xml:id="l4"/>of opinion that M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Le Clerk is a skilfull &amp; expeditious Graver <lb xml:id="l5"/>fit to be received into her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Mint in the third place, <lb xml:id="l6"/>that is, next after the two Gravers M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Croker &amp; M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> <lb xml:id="l7"/>Bull who were imployed under M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Harris, &amp; that he be <lb xml:id="l8"/>upon the same foot <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi></abbr><expan>with</expan></choice> those two Gravers <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi></abbr><expan>with</expan></choice> a salary of <lb xml:id="l9"/>eighty pounds per annum &amp; the <choice><sic>Lodings</sic><corr>Lodgings</corr></choice> appointed the <lb xml:id="l10"/>third Graver in our former Report. But by reason <lb xml:id="l11"/>of the charges <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> the Mint has been at by the <lb xml:id="l12"/>dammages done by the great winds last Autumn, we <lb xml:id="l13"/>are humbly of opinion that for saving money to defray <lb xml:id="l14"/>those charges his salary do not commence till next <lb xml:id="l15"/>Midsummer.</p>
