By the weight & assay of several pieces of forreign coins heretofore made in the minet, Mexico pieces of $\frac{8}{8}$ were fou (one wthwith another) found worth 4s 6d a piece, & Sevil pieces of $\frac{8}{8}$ (old plate ) were found of the same intrinsic value. [And after this rate I valued them in an estimate of the intrinsic value of several foreign coins for b for wchwhich I gave in to yethe Co C] wchwhich I formerly made for yethe use of yethe Plantations in yethe West Indies. Now according to this rate 200000li starling are worth 9) 8000000 (88888894 pieces of

I In this Pieces of 8 are more worn then the English † PillarS Pieces of Eight are more worn & diminished then the english milled money & in this recconing I have made no allowance for the excess of wearing. Exchangers reccon a piece of eight at a par worthwith 4s 3d
