    <p xml:id="par1"><hi rend="large">The Master of her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi></abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Mint at Edinburgh</hi> is allowed <lb xml:id="l1"/>by a Scotch Act of <choice><abbr>Parliam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Parliament</expan></choice> after a certain rate by the po<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">u</add>nd weight <lb xml:id="l2"/>for coynage of gold &amp; silver. His place is continued by the Vnion <lb xml:id="l3"/>Act &amp; the coynage is appointed to be performed there after <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">the</add> same <lb xml:id="l4"/>manner as in her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Mint in <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Tower</p>
