    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par3"><add place="marginLeft" indicator="no">"</add><hi rend="large">The Officers of the Mint have acquainted Vs That</hi> they cannot  <lb xml:id="l1"/>proceed to Coyn, because th<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">o</hi></orig><reg>ough</reg></choice> they have shilling &amp; Six pence Dyes, Yet <lb xml:id="l2"/>the Cutters are not Sent, and they cannot be made here, because they must <lb xml:id="l3"/>be made of Melted Iron in which no body can work in this part of the <lb xml:id="l4"/>Kingdom, beside they do<del type="over">y<gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">no</add>t want Severalls of the Tools and Materials that <lb xml:id="l5"/>were Order'd by the last Ship, which is not Yet Arriv'd, They are also at <lb xml:id="l6"/>a great loss for want of the Crown and halfe Crown dyes, And by the <lb xml:id="l7"/>Order from Her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi>.</abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice> to the Master of the Mint, there is a Certain <lb xml:id="l8"/>propor<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">co</hi></orig><reg>tio</reg></choice>n of Crowns &amp; halfe Crownes, to be Coyn'd, and it is the more <lb xml:id="l9"/>Necessary to do it, that we have got above 40 or 50000 pound of the <lb xml:id="l10"/>Money from England in Shillings &amp; Sixpences.<add place="marginLeft" indicator="no">"</add></p>
    
    <p xml:id="par4"><add place="marginLeft" indicator="no">"</add><hi rend="large">All</hi> this Concerning the Coyn wou'd be speedily represented that the <lb xml:id="l11"/>Necessary Orders may be given, and that in the mean time the officers of <lb xml:id="l12"/>the Mint be allow'd to Coyn Shillings, and Sixpences, and they may afterwards <lb xml:id="l13"/>Coyn the greater quantitys of Crowns &amp; halfe Crowns, but it is to be remembrd <lb xml:id="l14"/>that nothing c<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">a</add>n be done till the Cutters are sent.<add place="marginLeft" indicator="no">"</add></p>
    
    <p xml:id="par5"><add place="marginLeft" indicator="no">"</add><hi rend="large">The</hi> Officers of the Mint, are also desiring, that a Su<choice><orig>m̄</orig><reg>mm</reg></choice>of Money may <lb xml:id="l15"/>be Consigned to them for defraying the Charges &amp;c. making a free and <lb xml:id="l16"/>ready Coynage, There Peti<choice><orig>co<hi rend="overline">n</hi></orig><reg>tion</reg></choice> is reco<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">m</hi></orig><reg>mm</reg></choice>ended by the Privy Councill to the <lb xml:id="l17"/>Thesaury to be Comply'd with, and we hope that th<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">e</add> Fond which was <lb xml:id="l18"/>appointed by the Act of <choice><abbr>Parliam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>:</abbr><expan>Parliament</expan></choice> 168<del type="over">9</del><add place="over" indicator="no">6</add> May be Sufficient for this End &amp;c <lb xml:id="l19"/>in Order to a more clear Knowledge of this We have appointed.
