<p rend="indent15" xml:id="par3">The former kindnesses and Acts of Iustice You <lb xml:id="l1"/>have done me, makes me presume in the close of our Recoinage <lb xml:id="l2"/>to give You the trouble of the inclosed Memorial: As to which I <lb xml:id="l3"/>must beg Your advice and direction in every particular, for I  <lb xml:id="l4"/>depend upon it it will be Iust, And I must acknowledge I am <lb xml:id="l5"/>but a Stranger to what may be proper for me to do on this <lb xml:id="l6"/>occasion.</p>
    
<p xml:id="par4">I also beg leave to mind You again of Robert Miller Her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi></abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l7"/>Clerk in this Mint who was appointed by the Government to <lb xml:id="l8"/>oversee the weight and ta<del type="over"><unclear reason="over" cert="low">l</unclear></del><add place="over" indicator="no">k</add>e the Specie from the Bank, <lb xml:id="l9"/>with a promise of a suteable Reward, He has made application <lb xml:id="l10"/>to the Lord High Treasurer by a Petition, whereof I also <lb xml:id="l11"/>inclose a Copy for Your information, I doubt not you'l find his <lb xml:id="l12"/>desire Iust: And therefore I must intreat Your good Offices in <lb xml:id="l13"/>his behalf. He is a very honest Man, and his Sallary is but <lb xml:id="l14"/>small; and if there were any incouragement to expect some <lb xml:id="l15"/>addition to it, I should be glad to be directed in the manner <lb xml:id="l16"/>to get it done. I do assure You Sir, I as heartily recommend his <lb xml:id="l17"/>concern to your consideration as it were my own. I hope You'l pardon <lb xml:id="l18"/>my freedom, and I would reckon my Self very happy to have any oppor<lb xml:id="l19"/>tunity to testifying gratitude to You and shall still be</p>
