<p xml:id="par2">The Lords <choice><abbr>Comm<hi rend="superscript">tee</hi></abbr><expan>Committee</expan></choice> of his <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> most <choice><abbr>Hono<hi rend="superscript">ble</hi></abbr><expan>Honourable</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l1"/>Privy Councill having had under their considera<choice><orig>c</orig><reg>ti</reg></choice>on <lb xml:id="l2"/>the Representation made to his <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi></abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice> by the Parliament <lb xml:id="l3"/>of Ireland against the Patent granted to M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>: Wood <lb xml:id="l4"/>for the Coining of Copper Halfpence and farthings <lb xml:id="l5"/>for that Kingdom and having at the desire of the <lb xml:id="l6"/>said M<hi rend="superscript">r.</hi> Wood been pleased to Order than an Essay <lb xml:id="l7"/>should be imediately made of the Fineness value <lb xml:id="l8"/>and Weight of the said Coynage and the goodness <lb xml:id="l9"/>thereof Compared with the former Coinage of Copper <lb xml:id="l10"/>money in the said Kingdome The Lords <choice><abbr>Comm<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi>:</abbr><expan>Commissioners</expan></choice> of his <lb xml:id="l11"/><choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>.</abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Treasury desire You in their <choice><abbr>Lordp</abbr><expan>Lordship</expan></choice>'s names <lb xml:id="l12"/>to depute some person whom you shall know to be <lb xml:id="l13"/>skillfull in the Art of Essaying to make the said <lb xml:id="l14"/>Essays and Comparison And also to inspect and see <lb xml:id="l15"/>that the said Coynage be in all things conformable <lb xml:id="l16"/>to the said Patent and the said person is to repair <lb xml:id="l17"/>for that purpose with all Convenient Speed to  <lb xml:id="l18"/>Bristoll where the said Mr. Woods Office for the  <lb xml:id="l19"/>said Copper Coynage is kept And their <choice><abbr>Lordp</abbr><expan>Lordship</expan></choice>'s  <lb xml:id="l20"/>desire you to furnish him with all such Instruccons's <lb xml:id="l21"/>as you shall think proper for this Service and to <lb xml:id="l22"/>let him know that their <choice><abbr>Lordp</abbr><expan>Lordship</expan></choice>'s will gratifye him <lb xml:id="l23"/>for his trouble and charges therein in such  <lb xml:id="l24"/>manner as you shall think reasonable <space dim="horizontal" unit="chars" extent="2"/>I am</p>
