        <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2"><hi rend="large">Whereas</hi>the abovebounden S<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Isaac Newton hath agreed to <lb xml:id="l6"/>receiue from the above<del type="cancelled">bound</del> named Henry Hines &amp; John <lb xml:id="l7"/>Appleby Jun<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. at the Mint in the Tower of London thirty Tonns <lb xml:id="l8"/>of fine Brittish copper within the space of <del type="cancelled">two</del><add indicator="yes" place="supralinear">two</add> yeare<add place="inline" indicator="no">'s</add> from the <lb xml:id="l9"/>date hereof by such proportion that the quantitys delivered <lb xml:id="l10"/>shall not exceed four To<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">n</add>ns in any one Month, for the delivery <lb xml:id="l11"/>of <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>s.<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> thirty Tonns of fine Brittish Copper att the rate of <lb xml:id="l12"/>18.<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> <choice><abbr>ꝑ</abbr><expan>per</expan></choice> pound averdupois, the one halfe to be <choice><abbr>p.<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>paid</expan></choice> in Mony on <lb xml:id="l13"/>the delivery of the Copper and the other halfe in mony and <lb xml:id="l14"/>Copper Scissell to be delivered within six days after delivering <lb xml:id="l15"/>in thereof or any part thereof at the Mint as afore<choice><abbr>s.<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> <hi rend="large">Now</hi> the <lb xml:id="l16"/>Condition of this obligation is sich that if the <choice><abbr>s.<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> S<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Isaac Newton <lb xml:id="l17"/>or the Master and Worker of his <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi>.</abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Mint in the Tower <lb xml:id="l18"/>of LOndon for the time being do and shall take &amp; receive from <lb xml:id="l19"/>the <choice><abbr>s<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> Hen. Hines and John Appleby Jun. thirty tonns of <lb xml:id="l20"/>fine Brittish COpper <add indicator="yes" place="supralinear">to be made</add> in Barrs or filetts of such fineness <lb xml:id="l21"/>that when heated redd hott they will spread thin und.<hi rend="superscript">er</hi> the hammer <lb xml:id="l22"/>without cracking and of such a size that 46 halfe pound &amp; <lb xml:id="l23"/>92 farthings cutt out of the same according to dimensions <lb xml:id="l24"/>of putters hiven shall make a pound weight averdupois <lb xml:id="l25"/>as nearly as shall be found practicable without erring <lb xml:id="l26"/>by designe within the space of one yeare from the date <fw type="pag" place="bottomLeft">319</fw>

Copper <lb xml:id="l34"/>and the other halfe in mony and Copper Scissel <lb xml:id="l35"/>within Six days after the delivery of any Copper <lb xml:id="l36"/>into the mint as afore<choice><abbr>s<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> Then this obliga<hi rend="overline">ion</hi> to be <lb xml:id="l37"/>void or else to <gap reason="hand" extent="3" unit="chars"/>anie in full force/
