    <p xml:id="par3">In obedience to <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> Order that I should lay before <lb xml:id="l2"/><choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> an account of the Medalls made upon her late <lb xml:id="l3"/><choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Coronation &amp; of the time requisite to make Medalls <lb xml:id="l4"/>upon the present occasion, I most humbly represent that <lb xml:id="l5"/>twelve hundred Medalls of silver &amp; t<del type="over"><unclear reason="del" cert="high">wo</unclear></del><add place="over" indicator="no">hre</add><choice><orig/><reg><supplied reason="omitted">e</supplied></reg></choice> hundred of gold were <lb xml:id="l6"/>then made by Order of Council &amp; delivered to the <del type="strikethrough">Lord Bradford</del> <lb xml:id="l7"/><add place="lineBeginning supralinear" indicator="yes">Treasurer of the Houshold</add> to be distributed <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">at the Coronation</add>; &amp; that 515 medals of gold were made after<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l8"/>wards by <del type="strikethrough">Order of the L<hi rend="superscript">ds</hi> Comm<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi> of the Treasury</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> <del type="strikethrough"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del> order <del type="strikethrough">signified by</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">&amp;</add> my <choice><abbr>L<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>Lord</expan></choice> Treasurers <choice><abbr>Warr<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Warrant</expan></choice>,</add> <add place="infralinear" indicator="no">&amp; delivered to their speaker</add> for the <lb xml:id="l9"/>House of Commons <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">th</add>en sitting <add place="supralinear" indicator="no">&amp; delivered to their speaker</add> &amp; <del type="over"><unclear reason="del">30</unclear></del><add place="over" indicator="no">40</add> more <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">for</add> <choice><sic>Forreing</sic><corr>Forreign</corr></choice> <del type="over">m</del><add place="over" indicator="no">M</add>inisters <add place="lineBeginning infralinear interlinear" indicator="no">were delivered to my <choice><abbr>L<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>Lord</expan></choice> Iersey whereof those for the Agents &amp; Consuls were single medals &amp; the <lb xml:id="l10"/>rest were double <del type="strikethrough">one</del> in value</add>. <lb xml:id="l11"/>A pound weight of fine gold was <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">then</add> cut into twenty <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">single</add> medalls <lb xml:id="l12"/>&amp; a pound weight of fine silver into twenty &amp; two medalls.</p>
    
    <p xml:id="par4">After the form of the Medalls &amp; of his <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Effigies <lb xml:id="l13"/>is setled, it will take up about a <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">Calendar</add> month to make the Puncheons <lb xml:id="l14"/>&amp; three or four days more to make the Dyes &amp; coyn the medalls <lb xml:id="l15"/>by the Mill &amp; Press. If the Impression is to rise high like <lb xml:id="l16"/>that of the late Medals made upon the peace, they must be <lb xml:id="l17"/>coyned in a Ring &amp; it will take a week <add place="supralinear" indicator="no"><del type="cancelled"><unclear reason="del" cert="medium">or</unclear></del> <add place="lineBeginning" indicator="no">or tenn days more to finish the Puncheons &amp;</add>  <add place="lineEnd" indicator="no">c<supplied reason="blotDel">o</supplied>yn 1500</add></add> <del type="strikethrough">more to coyn 1500</del> <lb xml:id="l18"/>medalls of this sort, every two hundred medalls taking up <lb xml:id="l19"/>about a day to coyn them in this manner, &amp; the Medalls <lb xml:id="l20"/>must be weightier that there may be substance to make the <lb xml:id="l21"/>Impression rise high. Sixteen Medalls of this sort will require <lb xml:id="l22"/>a pound weight of fine gold &amp; twenty a pound weight of silver. <lb xml:id="l23"/>If either of the Puncheons should break (as sometimes happens) <lb xml:id="l24"/>a fortnight more will be requisite for repairing the loss. And <lb xml:id="l25"/>money should be advanced by my <choice><abbr>L<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>Lord</expan></choice> Treasurer for buying <lb xml:id="l26"/>Gold &amp; Silver.</p>
