    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2">May it please <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> <space dim="vertical" unit="lines" extent="2"/></p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par3">I understand that the money is intended to be <lb xml:id="l2"/>coyned according to the forms expressed in the annexed <lb xml:id="l3"/>Draughts. The Inscriptions, the Arms of Hannover, <lb xml:id="l4"/>&amp; the Crown about that Escutcheon, are drawn only in <lb xml:id="l5"/>black lead, that if any thing be amiss it may be <lb xml:id="l6"/>wiped out &amp; <del type="strikethrough">speedily</del> amended <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">without spoiling the draughts<choice><sic>.</sic><corr type="noText"/></choice></add>. And because these <lb xml:id="l7"/>parts of the Draughts may be <del type="over"><unclear reason="del" cert="low">me</unclear><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">wip</add>ed out &amp; changed <lb xml:id="l8"/>it will be convenient that they be described in words <lb xml:id="l9"/>at length in the Warrant: to which Warrant these <lb xml:id="l10"/>Draughts (if they be approved) are to be annexe<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">d</add>. <lb xml:id="l11"/>If these Draughts are to be amended or any other <lb xml:id="l12"/>Draughts <add place="inline" indicator="no">m</add>a<del type="over">r</del><add place="over" indicator="no">d</add>e to be laid before the King in Council <lb xml:id="l13"/>it shall be speedily done.<hi rend="superscript">✝</hi> 
        
        <addSpan spanTo="#addend285r-01" place="p285r-lower" startDescription="lower down f 285r" endDescription="higher up f 285r" resp="#mjh"/>The Warrant uses to <del type="strikethrough">made by</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">be grounded on an</add> Order of Council. And in the <lb xml:id="l14"/>Warrant <del type="strikethrough">in the Warrant</del> it should be exprest that the five pound <lb xml:id="l15"/>pieces, the forty shillings pieces <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">the twenty shillings pieces &amp; the tenn shillings pieces</add> of Gold are to be coyned after the <lb xml:id="l16"/>forms <del type="strikethrough">exprest</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">depicted</add> in the two uppermost figures; the Crowns half <lb xml:id="l17"/>Crowns, shillings &amp; sixpences after t<del type="over"><unclear reason="del">wo</unclear></del><add place="over" indicator="no">he</add> <del type="strikethrough">next</del> forms <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes"><del type="strikethrough">exprest</del> <add place="lineBeginning" indicator="no">depicted</add> in the two figures</add> next below. <lb xml:id="l18"/>And the Groats, Three-pences, two pences, &amp; pence <del type="strikethrough">after the for</del> on <lb xml:id="l19"/>the head side <del type="over"><unclear reason="del" cert="low">o</unclear></del><add place="over" indicator="no">a</add>f<add place="inline" indicator="no">ter</add> the <del type="strikethrough">same</del> form <del type="strikethrough">with</del> <add place="supralinear" indicator="no">of</add> the larger silver moneys <lb xml:id="l20"/><del type="cancelled">&amp;</del> <del type="strikethrough"><unclear reason="del">on</unclear></del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">with</add> th<del type="over">e</del><add place="over" indicator="no">i</add><add place="inline" indicator="no">s</add> <del type="cancelled"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del> inscription <foreign xml:lang="lat">GEORGIVS DEI GRATIA</foreign> &amp; on the Revers after <lb xml:id="l21"/>the forms depicted <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">in the four figures</add> blow, <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi></abbr><expan>with</expan></choice> this inscription <foreign xml:lang="lat">MAG. BR: FR. ET. HI<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">B</add>. REX</foreign> <add place="infralinear" indicator="no">&amp;c. 1714</add><anchor xml:id="addend285r-01"/> 
        
        In the Draughts for <lb xml:id="l22"/>the small money the inscription about the Head is <lb xml:id="l23"/>proposed to be <foreign xml:lang="lat">GEORGIVS. DEI. GRATIA.</foreign> And about <lb xml:id="l24"/>the Reverse <foreign xml:lang="lat">MAG. BRI. FR. ET. HIB. REX</foreign> &amp;c 1714. If <lb xml:id="l25"/>in any of these Draughts the <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">w</add>ork prove to<add place="inline" indicator="no">o</add> much <lb xml:id="l26"/> <lb xml:id="l27"/>crouded, it may be <del type="cancelled">speedily</del> mended hereafter by a <lb xml:id="l28"/>new Warrant. <add place="inline interlinear" indicator="no">For I fear that the arms of Hannover will <lb xml:id="l29"/>scarce be distinct upon the half Guineas &amp; sixpences.</add></p>
