    <p xml:id="par3">I have <del type="strikethrough">considered &amp; examined</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">perused his <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Warrant</add> the Vouchers of M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ames Girards <lb xml:id="l1"/>Bill hereunto annexed for engraving <del type="cancelled">of</del> a seal <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">of silver</add> for the Bahama <lb xml:id="l2"/>Islands, <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">Bill</add> your <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> were pleased to referr to the principal <lb xml:id="l3"/>Officers of his <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi></abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Mint on <space dim="horizontal" unit="chars" extent="30"/> &amp; <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l4"/>came to my hands in the end of September <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">last</add>, &amp; I humbly certify your <lb xml:id="l5"/><choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> that I find <del type="cancelled"><unclear reason="del" cert="low">them</unclear></del><add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">the Seal</add> right according to the directions of his <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi></abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l6"/>Warrant &amp; the work very good &amp; by the <del type="strikethrough">voucher of</del> Certificate of <lb xml:id="l7"/>Holies Newcastle <add place="supralinear" indicator="no">Es</add> enclos<del type="strikethrough">los</del>ed that the same was sent to George <lb xml:id="l8"/>Phenney Es Governour of <del type="strikethrough">those</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">the said</add> Islands. <del type="strikethrough">And</del> <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">I find also</add> that before it was <lb xml:id="l9"/>sent it was weighed in the Mint &amp; <del type="strikethrough">it weight</del> was <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">found</add> of <add place="inline" indicator="no">t</add><del type="over">a</del><add place="over" indicator="no">h</add><add place="inline" indicator="no">e</add> weight <lb xml:id="l10"/>expressed in the Bill <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">&amp; the price of the silver set down in the Bill answers to its weight</add>. <del type="strikethrough">And</del><add place="infralinear" indicator="yes">I find also</add> that the price <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">of the workmans</add> is reasonable being <del type="strikethrough">some</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">as low or</add> <lb xml:id="l11"/>a little lower then in proportion to the prize<del type="over">d</del><add place="over" indicator="no">s</add> <del type="cancelled">all</del> <add place="supralinear" indicator="no"><del type="cancelled"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="4"/></del></add> heretofore allowed <lb xml:id="l12"/>for <add place="inline" indicator="no"><choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice></add> work<add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">manship of seals</add> of like sizes.
