<p rend="indent10" xml:id="par8">That your Memorialist has for <lb xml:id="l4"/>many years past Considered of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> many Inconveniecys <lb xml:id="l5"/>which arise from <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> present Current Coin of this Kingdom <lb xml:id="l6"/>being Frequently counterfeited, and that it would very  <lb xml:id="l7"/>much Conduce to <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Honour and Interest of his Sacred <lb xml:id="l8"/><choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi>.</abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice> and his Realms if in time to come Counterfeit<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l9"/>ing the coin were prevented.</p>
<p rend="indent5" xml:id="par9">That your Memorialist has by many ye<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">a</add>rs <lb xml:id="l10"/>study and by much Expence in <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> nature of mettals <lb xml:id="l11"/>found out an effectual way to prevent <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Current Coin <lb xml:id="l12"/>of this Kingdom being Counterfeited and by your  <lb xml:id="l13"/>Memorialist's method <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Gold and Silver Coins will <lb xml:id="l14"/>be more durable than if Coined <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> way now used, <fw type="catch" place="bottomRight">And</fw><fw type="pag" place="bottomLeft" hand="#unknown">495</fw><pb xml:id="p495v" n="495v"/>And it will be impossible to Lessen their Value by  <lb xml:id="l15"/>Liquids or any other means what ever without  <lb xml:id="l16"/>Demolishing <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> whole Body.</p>
