The humble Petition of IJohn Croker Chief Engraver and Samuel Bull his Assistant Graver in his Majesties Mint

Sheweth

That your Petitioners have been Imployed in the Mint and have performed the Business of the Engraver there for near Eighteen Years, during which time they have made all the several Dyes for all the species of Gold and Silver Monies, as well as for all the Medals struck by publick Authority.

That for Tenn years past your Petitioner IJohn Croker has by Letters Patents been constituted the Chief Engraver, and Yor.Your Petitioner Samuel Bull has acted as his Assistant by the same Letter Patents; and for their conduct in their Respective Stations they humbly referr themselves to the principal Officers in his Majesties Mint.

That the said Letter Patents will of course expire in a few days whereby your PetionersPetitioners will be oblig'd to suspend their whole business and operations in the Graving for the service of the Mint.

Your Petitioners therefore most humbly prays Your Lordships

would please to grant them your Warrant for a New Patent or a Constitution that

they may proceed in the business of the Engravers place without

any loss of time to yethe Publick.

And your Petitioners as in duty bound shall ever
