My Lord Treasurer Commands me to transmit to you the inclosed peticonpetition of Mr Oadham praying a Tryall as to his qualificaconsqualifications for the place of Assay Master of the Mint, his LordpLordship is pleased to direct you to cause a Tryall to be made before you by him & the rest of the PeticonersPetitioners for the said Office who have been Referr'd to You (if they desire it) And that you will then make your Report to his LordpLordship wchwhich of them you conceive to be the most expert & fittest ꝑperson for that ImploymtImployment.
