                <p xml:id="par2">The Crown of England by a late Convention with <lb xml:id="l3"/>Sweden having agreed to certain <choice><abbr>paym<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>.</abbr><expan>payments</expan></choice> to be made in <lb xml:id="l4"/>Imperial Dollars And some dispute arising about the <lb xml:id="l5"/>Value of the said Dollars; The Lords <choice><abbr>Comm<hi rend="superscript"><hi rend="overline">rs</hi></hi>.</abbr><expan>Commissioners</expan></choice> of his <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l6"/><choice><abbr>Tre<hi rend="overline">ar</hi>y</abbr><expan>Treasury</expan></choice> have Commanded me to send you the inclosed Extract <lb xml:id="l7"/>of the said Convention As also an Extract of a Treaty with <lb xml:id="l8"/>Sweden <choice><abbr>A<hi rend="superscript">o</hi>.</abbr><expan>Anno</expan></choice> 1700 And desire you to consider the same And <lb xml:id="l9"/>Report your Opinion to their <choice><abbr>Lor<hi rend="underline">dps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> with respect to the <lb xml:id="l10"/>Value of the said Dollars as well Intrinsically as by way <lb xml:id="l11"/>of Exchange which you will please to do with all convenient <lb xml:id="l12"/>speed<supplied reason="omitted">.</supplied> This in the absence of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Sec<hi rend="overline">rys</hi></abbr><expan>Secretarys</expan></choice> &amp;c<hi rend="superscript">a</hi>. 5<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> April 172<supplied reason="omitted" source="Newton Correspondence">0</supplied></p>
