                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par1">Sir Isaac Newton &amp; M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Essington &amp; Partners are calld in</p>
                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2">M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Essingtons proposalls read <space dim="vertical" unit="lines" extent="1"/></p>
                
                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par3">Sir Isaac objects against the manner of assaying <lb xml:id="l3"/>proposed by them and gives their <choice><abbr>Lordps</abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> an account <lb xml:id="l4"/>of the method now used in the Mint <space dim="vertical" unit="lines" extent="1"/></p>
                
                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par4">Lord Stanhope acquaints them that Sir Isaac Newton <lb xml:id="l5"/>shall deliver over to them a small Quantity of Farthings <lb xml:id="l6"/>which shall be assay'd in such manner as shall be <lb xml:id="l7"/>agreed upon, And if the proposers will furnish the Mint <lb xml:id="l8"/>with Copper which upon the assay shall prove to be <lb xml:id="l9"/>as good as that now furnished and at a lower price <lb xml:id="l10"/>than that now <del type="strikethrough">furnished</del> brought into the Mint; Their <lb xml:id="l11"/><choice><abbr>Lor<hi rend="overline">dps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> will give Sir Is. Newton directions to Contract <lb xml:id="l12"/>with them accordingly</p>
                
                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par5">My Lords direct the Master of the Mint to Contract with <lb xml:id="l13"/>the <choice><abbr>pet<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi></abbr><expan>petitioners</expan></choice> for 5 Tons of Copper at the same price now <lb xml:id="l14"/>given, An assay of which is to be compared with a <lb xml:id="l15"/>like assay of the Copper now coyning and the <choice><sic>Diference</sic><corr>Difference</corr></choice> <lb xml:id="l16"/>between both to be stated and layd before my Lords <space dim="vertical" unit="lines" extent="1"/></p>
                
                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par6">M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Wood &amp; M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Iones may furnish the like Quantity <lb xml:id="l17"/>(viz<hi rend="superscript">t</hi> 5 Tons each) at the same price &amp; the same Cond<del type="cancelled"><unclear reason="del" cert="low">it</unclear></del>itions</p>
