                <p xml:id="par2">Whereas the proprietors of our patent for fishing for Wrecks <lb xml:id="l1"/>between ten and fifteen Degrees North Latitude which was granted <lb xml:id="l2"/>by us to Iacob Row Esq<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. have been putting our said patent in Execu<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l3"/>tion and are returned with a Considerable Treasure of Bullion <lb xml:id="l4"/>plate silver Coyn and other Goods taken up from a Wreck, in <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l5"/>sea at the Isle of Mayo, whereof one tenth part clear of all <lb xml:id="l6"/>Deductions whatsoever is Reserved to Vs, Our Will and pleasure <lb xml:id="l7"/>is and wee do here by direct authorize and Command You (together <lb xml:id="l8"/><add place="inline" indicator="no" hand="#un">with Iojn Sydenham Esq<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>:</add> who was appointed our Officer for inspecting the said fishing &amp; <lb xml:id="l9"/>securing our part reserved as aforesaid) to go to the house of <lb xml:id="l10"/>Andrew Drummond Goldsmith at Charing Cross where (as Wee <lb xml:id="l11"/>are informed) the said plate is lodged, and in the presence of <lb xml:id="l12"/>such of the Proprietors, or their Agents as shall be at the said house <lb xml:id="l13"/>to cause the said Plate to be weigh'd, and to <choice><sic>recieve</sic><corr>receive</corr></choice> and take <lb xml:id="l14"/>from them one Tenth part clear of all Deductions whatsoever, <lb xml:id="l15"/>and give to the said Proprietors or their Agents a proper Receipt <lb xml:id="l16"/>for the same, and transmitt to the Co<choice><orig>m̄</orig><reg>mm</reg></choice>issioners of our <choice><abbr>Tre<hi rend="overline">a</hi>ry</abbr><expan>Treasury</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l17"/>under your hands a Certificate thereof and you the Master &amp; <lb xml:id="l18"/>Worker of our Mint are to carry the Plate so received into our <lb xml:id="l19"/>Mint, and to cause the same to <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">be</add> melted into clean Ingotts and then <lb xml:id="l20"/>after to be converted into the Current Coyns of this Kingdom &amp; <lb xml:id="l21"/>being so Coyned to pay the proceed thereof (<choice><sic>Exept</sic><corr>Except</corr></choice> as hereafter <lb xml:id="l22"/>is Excepted) unto our Trusty and well beloved Casper Frederick <lb xml:id="l23"/>Hanning Esq<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. for the use and service of our privy purse, without <lb xml:id="l24"/>account, That is to say, Except so much out of the said proceed as <lb xml:id="l25"/>shall be sufficient to defray the Charge of Melting as afore<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l26"/>said, and so much more as shall be sufficient to satisfie and pay <lb xml:id="l27"/>unto the said <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ohn Sydenham an Allowance after the rate of <lb xml:id="l28"/>Five Pounds <choice><orig>ꝑ</orig><reg>per</reg></choice> Cent upon the Next Proceed, Which allowance <lb xml:id="l29"/>Wee are gatiously pleased to make him towards his service &amp; <lb xml:id="l30"/>Charges in attending the said Expedition on our behalf, And for <lb xml:id="l31"/>so doing this with the proper Acqu<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="5"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">ittanc</add>ces shall be as well to <lb xml:id="l32"/>you, <del type="over">o</del><add place="over" indicator="no">O</add>ur Master &amp; Worker for making the said payments as to <lb xml:id="l33"/>our Auditors &amp; all others concerned in allowing thereof on Your <lb xml:id="l34"/>Account a sufficient Warrant.
