                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par1"><hi rend="large">To the Most <choice><abbr>Hon<hi rend="superscript">ble</hi>:</abbr><expan>Honourable</expan></choice> the Lord High <choice><abbr>Tre<hi rend="overline">ar</hi>er</abbr><expan>Treasurer</expan></choice> of Great Britain</hi></p>
                
                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2"><hi rend="large">May it please Your Lordship</hi></p>
                
                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par3">In obedience to your <choice><abbr>Lo<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi>:</abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> order signifyed to us by M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Lowndes Letter of <lb xml:id="l1"/>the 28 Instant, We have perused the annexed Letter of the earl of Lauderdale <lb xml:id="l2"/>General of Her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Mint at Edinburgh touching the Tryal of the pix of <lb xml:id="l3"/>that Mint, and are humbly of opinion that Her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Order in Council for <lb xml:id="l4"/>trying the same is a sufficient <choice><abbr>Warr<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>Warrant</expan></choice> for transporting it to London, especi<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l5"/>ally if a Duplicate of the said Order with <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>:</abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lo<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi>:</abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> signification thereupon <lb xml:id="l6"/>be transmitted to the General, Master &amp; Warden of the said Mint, as is <lb xml:id="l7"/>usually done to the Officers of the Mint here, and that the manner of tran<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l8"/>sporting it safely be left to the prudence of the General and other officers <lb xml:id="l9"/>of the said Mint (no particular order being given to the Officers of the late <lb xml:id="l10"/>five Country Mints about the manner of Conveying their pixes to the <lb xml:id="l11"/>place of Tryal) and that the Charges thereof be placed in the next Accompt <lb xml:id="l12"/>of the Master and Worker as being to be born by Her Majesty.</p>
                
                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par4">And We are further humbly of Opinion that the persons that are Intrusted <lb xml:id="l13"/>with the Keeping of the Keys of the pix should bring them up themselves, &amp; <lb xml:id="l14"/>be present at the Opening of it, &amp; by reason one of them has usually been <lb xml:id="l15"/>kept by the Treasury or Treasurer, as the Generals Letter setts forth, that <lb xml:id="l16"/>the same be sent or brought up in such a manner as your Lordship shall be <lb xml:id="l17"/>pleased to Direct, &amp; that the Master &amp; Worker who is to appear in behalf of <lb xml:id="l18"/>the late Master do also attend at the Tryal and that the Coining of the <lb xml:id="l19"/>Counterwarden be left to the Discretion of the officers of that Mint</p>
                
                <p rend="indent10" xml:id="par5">All <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi>:</abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> is Most humbly submitted to your <choice><abbr>Lo<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi>:</abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> great wisdom.</p>
