                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2">Edward <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ones but his right name is Ivy took on  him <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> name of <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ones  <lb xml:id="l1"/><choice><abbr>abo<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>about</expan></choice> 3 years since he lived in a Court near Grays Inn in Liccabone  <lb xml:id="l2"/><choice><abbr>str</abbr><expan>street</expan></choice> 3 or 4 years he came for Ireland lived in London near 20  <lb xml:id="l3"/>years had an Estate near Wincanton in Somerset there <lb xml:id="l4"/>but lost it <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>that</expan></choice> sometime before the late Warr there came with  <lb xml:id="l5"/>M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ohn Hickes to lodge at <choice><abbr>Exam<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>.</abbr><expan>Examinants</expan></choice> house and with his wife and  <lb xml:id="l6"/>daughter the <choice><abbr>sd</abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> Hickes had a Countrey house at litle Chelsea  <lb xml:id="l7"/>and he first put <choice><abbr>Exam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>Examinant</expan></choice> on Clipping and coyning with one <lb xml:id="l8"/>Cogswell a Gent <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>that</expan></choice> lived in London and Edward Brady  <lb xml:id="l9"/>put him first on Clipping that the Widdow Gardiner  <lb xml:id="l10"/>used to bring him five Baggs on a day of 100<hi rend="superscript">℔</hi> each from a  <lb xml:id="l11"/>Servant of <choice><abbr>S<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</abbr><expan>Sir</expan></choice> <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">Stephen</add> Foxe's that he gave her <unclear reason="hand" cert="medium">10<hi rend="superscript">s</hi></unclear> for every bagg and used  <lb xml:id="l12"/>to clip the money and take to the value of 5<hi rend="superscript">℔</hi> out of each bagg  <lb xml:id="l13"/>and return it to her and used to sell his Clippings to one <lb xml:id="l14"/><choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>acob a Goldsmith in <unclear reason="hand">S</unclear>hod Lane hears that he now lives under  <lb xml:id="l15"/>the arch in Lincolns Fields that he gave 5<hi rend="superscript">s</hi>. 2<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> or 5<hi rend="superscript">s</hi> &amp; 3<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> <choice><orig>ꝑ</orig><reg>per</reg></choice> oz <lb xml:id="l16"/>he used to run it down and allay it and he allways gave it to  <lb xml:id="l17"/><choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>acob rought he sold to <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>acob 500<hi rend="superscript">℔</hi> worth and dealt <choice><abbr>wth</abbr><expan>with</expan></choice>  <lb xml:id="l18"/>him above 3 years he used also to sell to one that lives <space unit="chars" extent="1"/>  <lb xml:id="l19"/><space dim="horizontal" unit="chars" extent="11"/> an Ironmonger he used to sell him Clipping <lb xml:id="l20"/>sheers and sold him also great quantity of silver</p>
             
                <p xml:id="par3"><choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ohn Hickes Cogswell and Brady sold

                    Clippings to the same person that he made a former discovery  <lb xml:id="l21"/>in London to one of the Secretary's and was promissed  <lb xml:id="l22"/>pardon but not being able to have them taken he could not get  <lb xml:id="l23"/>his parden and therefore fled here into Ireland</p>
         
                <p xml:id="par4">He says that one Chandler goes under the Notion of a  <lb xml:id="l24"/>Chymist who lives near Charing Cross makes and coyns <lb xml:id="l25"/>pistoles and <choice><sic>Gineas</sic><corr>Guineas</corr></choice> <choice><abbr>Exam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>Examinant</expan></choice> has had some of <choice><abbr>ym</abbr><expan>them</expan></choice> from him  <lb xml:id="l26"/><choice><abbr>abo<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>about</expan></choice> 4 years since has upwards of 2 pistols and <choice><sic>Gineas</sic><corr>Guineas</corr></choice>  <lb xml:id="l27"/>believes he <choice><abbr>discover<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>discovered</expan></choice> him in England can bring his <lb xml:id="l28"/>wife and severall to Convict him that he had been taken  <lb xml:id="l29"/>but <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>that</expan></choice> of one <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ohn Gibbons porter at Whitehall whose <lb xml:id="l30"/>busines is to take up Clippers and Coyners gives notice to  <lb xml:id="l31"/>all Coyners who by that means escape that <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>sd</abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> Gibbons  <lb xml:id="l32"/>gave <choice><abbr>Exam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Examinant</expan></choice> notice <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">n</hi>.</abbr><expan>when</expan></choice> Warrants were out <choice><abbr>ag<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>against</expan></choice> him  <lb xml:id="l33"/>That one Price a Watchmaker near Charing Cross <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>that</expan></choice> used to make the Impression for the <choice><sic>Gineas</sic><corr>Guineas</corr></choice> and made all  <lb xml:id="l34"/><choice><abbr>instrum<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>instruments</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>abo<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>about</expan></choice> coyning and heard he made a Mill but never  <lb xml:id="l35"/>saw it can prove it by Eliz <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>oones and others</p>
        
                <p xml:id="par5">Edward Brady once servant to <choice><abbr>S<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</abbr><expan>Sir</expan></choice> Maurice Eustace  <lb xml:id="l36"/>but now lives in S<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>. Ann's <choice><orig>ꝑ</orig><reg>par</reg></choice>ish near Soho he clips and utters  <lb xml:id="l37"/>the false mill'd money that was made of <choice><abbr>Cop<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</abbr><expan>Copper</expan></choice> as while as  <lb xml:id="l38"/>Silver</p>
         
                <p xml:id="par6">One <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ennings that <choice><abbr>marry<hi rend="superscript">d</hi>.</abbr><expan>marryed</expan></choice> the Widdow Noyse or his – <lb xml:id="l39"/>brother used to coyn <choice><sic>Gineas</sic><corr>Guineas</corr></choice> in England knows him if he  <lb xml:id="l40"/>sees him</p>
          
                <p xml:id="par7">That one Cap<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>. Tuthill was a <choice><abbr>Clip<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>Clipper</expan></choice> and <choice><abbr>Coyn<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>Coyner</expan></choice> used to  <lb xml:id="l41"/>clip in <choice><abbr>Exam<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Examinants</expan></choice> house in London keeps a Rape Mill  <lb xml:id="l42"/>but all his servants that he brought over with him are <lb xml:id="l43"/>Clippers and Coyners to be heard of at North's house an ale seller  <lb xml:id="l44"/>in Castle <choice><abbr>str</abbr><expan>street</expan></choice> was told that Chandler came over hither great <lb xml:id="l45"/>acquaintance with Tuthill <choice><abbr>Exam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>Examinant</expan></choice> never clipt nor coyned  <lb xml:id="l46"/>since he came. says that the clipt money was found in  <lb xml:id="l47"/>the Trunck was clipt and when found to be Brass they <lb xml:id="l48"/>threw <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">m</hi></abbr><expan>them</expan></choice> aways says Chandler was the greatest Coyner in  <lb xml:id="l49"/>England</p>
