                <p rend="center" xml:id="par1">The Information of Charles Conklin alias Congrell of Lemon Street <lb xml:id="l1"/>in goodmans Fields in White Chappell Glassmaker taken this <lb xml:id="l2"/>2<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> day of may 1699</p>

                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2">He saith that <choice><orig>In<hi rend="superscript">o</hi></orig><reg>John</reg></choice>  Williams (who lives about 5 Miles out of town <lb xml:id="l3"/>&amp; <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi></abbr><expan>with</expan></choice>in half a mile of Coach road about three weeks before last <lb xml:id="l4"/>Christmas brought to the <choice><abbr>Depont</abbr><expan>Deponent</expan></choice> a parcell of counterfeit Dutch <lb xml:id="l5"/>money &amp; some counterfeit Shillings &amp; Sixpences of English money <lb xml:id="l6"/>&amp; offered the English false money after the rate of 25<hi rend="superscript">s</hi> for 20<hi rend="superscript">s</hi> of <lb xml:id="l7"/><add place="supralinear lineBeginning" indicator="yes">Good money</add> and said he made it so well that he could afford it no cheaper, &amp; <lb xml:id="l8"/>that he had <del type="over">one</del><add place="over" indicator="no">two</add> servant<add place="inline" indicator="no">s</add> at home that workt for him so that <lb xml:id="l9"/>he could do what he would and said that he had a Dutch <lb xml:id="l10"/>Merchant would taken an 100<hi rend="superscript">£</hi> a weeks of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Dutch money, &amp; propo<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l11"/>sed to <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Depont</abbr><expan>Deponent</expan></choice> that he <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Depont</abbr><expan>Deponent</expan></choice> should put in 50<hi rend="superscript"><hi rend="overline">ll</hi></hi> into a Stock <lb xml:id="l12"/>for carrying on the designn of making the Dutch money</p>
                
                <p xml:id="par3">That Wray Smith made a crown Edger, a half crown edger <lb xml:id="l13"/>and a shilling edger <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> he shewd to the <choice><abbr>Depon<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Deponent</expan></choice> the Last Summer <lb xml:id="l14"/>&amp; desired him to take care of them till he had made two pair of <lb xml:id="l15"/>Dies one for Guineas &amp; <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> other for shillings the Edgers the <choice><abbr>Depont</abbr><expan>Deponent</expan></choice> can <lb xml:id="l16"/>cause to be delivered up</p>
