                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2">Saith that he has been in <choice><abbr>En<hi rend="overline">gld</hi></abbr><expan>England</expan></choice> about 2. years next June and came <lb xml:id="l2"/>then from Holland and was employ'd under his <choice><abbr>Ma.<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi></abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice> in <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Army in <lb xml:id="l3"/><placeName>Peidmount</placeName> in the last Ware as Physitian. And further saith that in <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l4"/>month of June last he became acquainted with a German <choice><abbr>Gen<hi rend="overline">tlem</hi></abbr><expan>Gentleman</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l5"/>upon <choice><abbr>acco<hi rend="superscript">nt</hi></abbr><expan>account</expan></choice> of cureing him of the pox, and haveing <choice><abbr>ꝑformed</abbr><expan>performed</expan></choice> the <lb xml:id="l6"/>said cure <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> said German <choice><abbr><hi rend="overline">Gentm</hi></abbr><expan>Gentleman</expan></choice> gave this Examinant 12. pistoles <lb xml:id="l7"/>and at the same time told him <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>that</expan></choice> 5. of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>S<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>Said</expan></choice> pistoles were false <lb xml:id="l8"/>But <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>that</expan></choice> the <choice><abbr>S<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>Said</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>ꝑson</abbr><expan>person</expan></choice> is now gone from <choice><abbr>En<hi rend="overline">gld</hi></abbr><expan>England</expan></choice>. And the 5. Pistoles as <lb xml:id="l9"/>above <choice><abbr>S<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>Said</expan></choice> are the same (amongst other Gold) now taken upon him. He <lb xml:id="l10"/>further saith that he knows one <persName>Mace</persName> and <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> man <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>that</expan></choice> Keeps a <fw type="catch" place="bottomRight">Coffee</fw>

                    Coffee house in <placeName>George Alley in <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Strand</placeName> and there he delivered <lb xml:id="l11"/>a Pistole to the said Coffee man to have <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> same Gilded, he saith <lb xml:id="l12"/>further <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>that</expan></choice> one <persName>Fitz-Gerald</persName> (now in <placeName>Woodstreet Counter</placeName>) in <placeName>London</placeName> did about <lb xml:id="l13"/>3. weeks Since Gild 2. or 3.
