Middx Westmr } Ss The ExaminaionExamination of Philip Lloyd of St Martins in yethe feilds Physitian duly Examined this 10.th Feby.February 1700.

Saith that he has been in EngldEngland about 2. years next June and came then from Holland and was employ'd under his Ma.tyMajesty in yethe Army in Peidmount in the last Ware as Physitian. And further saith that in yethe month of June last he became acquainted with a German GentlemGentleman upon accontaccount of cureing him of the pox, and haveing ꝑformedperformed the said cure yethe said German GentmGentleman gave this Examinant 12. pistoles and at the same time told him ytthat 5. of yethe SdSaid pistoles were false But ytthat the SdSaid ꝑsonperson is now gone from EngldEngland. And the 5. Pistoles as above SdSaid are the same (amongst other Gold) now taken upon him. He further saith that he knows one Mace and yethe man ytthat Keeps a Coffee Coffee house in George Alley in yethe Strand and there he delivered a Pistole to the said Coffee man to have yethe same Gilded, he saith further ytthat one Fitz-Gerald (now in Woodstreet Counter) in London did about 3. weeks Since Gild 2. or 3.
