                <p rend="indent10" xml:id="par1"> The <choice><abbr>Inform<hi rend="overline">aio</hi>n</abbr><expan>Information</expan></choice> of <persName>Henry Lea</persName> taken upon Oath <lb xml:id="l1"/>this <date>second day of August 1704</date>.</p>
                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2">This <choice><abbr>Inform:<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Informant</expan></choice> upon his Oath deposeth and saith, that about a <lb xml:id="l2"/>12. months Since, he this Informant saw <persName>John Martin Stocker</persName> <lb xml:id="l3"/>Goldsmith melt down about 4. or 5. pounds of Silver money of <lb xml:id="l4"/>
                    the current Coyn of this Kingdom, with fine Silver and therewith <lb xml:id="l5"/>made work. And this <choice><abbr>Inform:<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Informant</expan></choice> further saith, that <date>the latter end of <lb xml:id="l6"/>March 1703.</date> he saw the aforesaid <persName>John Martin Stocker</persName> Soder the <lb xml:id="l7"/>Goldsmiths-hall Marks for standard Silver into Course Silver, and at <lb xml:id="l8"/>severall other times this <choice><abbr>Inform:<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Informant</expan></choice> Saw the <choice><abbr>S<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>Said</expan></choice> <persName>John Martin Stocker</persName> <lb xml:id="l9"/>cut out of old plate the said Hall Marks and Soder them into New <lb xml:id="l10"/>plate, and this <choice><abbr>Inform:<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Informant</expan></choice> further saith, that <persName>John Tiffin</persName> lately <lb xml:id="l11"/>a Goldsmith upon <placeName>London Bridge</placeName>, was privy to and did know that <lb xml:id="l12"/>the <choice><abbr>S<hi rend="superscript">d</hi></abbr><expan>Said</expan></choice> <persName>John Martin Stocker</persName>, did Soder the Hallmartks into Course plate                   <lb xml:id="l13"/><space dim="horizontal" unit="chars" extent="45"/><hi rend="large"><persName>Hen: Lea</persName></hi> <lb xml:id="l14"/><foreign xml:lang="lat">Capt et jurat &amp;c.<hi rend="superscript">t</hi> coram</foreign> <lb xml:id="l15"/><hi rend="large"><persName>S.
