My Lords I have considered the annexed Petition & beleive find that yethe Petitioner did apprehend & prosecute Wm Hawpkins & James Harrison & by taking &a journedy of 36 miles to Lincoln Assizes & staying there a week wthwith his witnesses did conv pr prosecute them to conviction & the estate he petitions for amounts to about 10£ per an̄annum but & is not yet seized for his MatsMajesties use & I beleive it for his MatsMajesties service that suitable rewards such as may be a lease of this estate for so many years as yor Lordpsyour Lordships shall think fit may tend to encourage Gentlemen in the Country to Serve his MatyMajesty more readily in these matters.
