                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2"><hi rend="larger">His Majesty</hi> or his <hi rend="large">Councill</hi> appoints the time <lb xml:id="l2"/>and place for <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Tryall of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> monys in <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <hi rend="large">Pix</hi>: the time <lb xml:id="l3"/>is usually about a month after 'tis ordered, &amp; <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Place in or <lb xml:id="l4"/>near <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Star chamber.</p>
                
                <p xml:id="par3"><hi rend="large">The <choice><abbr>L<hi rend="superscript">d</hi>.</abbr><expan>Lord</expan></choice></hi> High Chancell<choice><orig><hi rend="superscript">r.</hi></orig><reg>our</reg></choice> sends his Letter to the <lb xml:id="l5"/>Wardens &amp; Company of Goldsmiths to return, to returne him <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> names <lb xml:id="l6"/>of an able <hi rend="large">Iury</hi> for that <hi rend="large">Tryall</hi></p>
                
                <p xml:id="par4">The returne of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> names being made to his <hi rend="large"><choice><abbr>Lo<hi rend="superscript"><hi rend="underline">p</hi></hi></abbr><expan>Lordship</expan></choice></hi> <lb xml:id="l7"/>he sends his Warrant by his <hi rend="large">Serjeant</hi> at Arms, or Serjeants <lb xml:id="l8"/><hi rend="large">deputy</hi> to summon <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <hi rend="large">Iury</hi> by their names, to meet at the <lb xml:id="l9"/>time &amp; place appointed <hi rend="large">for <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Tryall.</hi></p>
                
                
                <p xml:id="par5"><hi rend="large">On</hi> the day appointed, the <hi rend="large">Pix</hi>-boxes are brought <lb xml:id="l10"/>and plac'd on a <hi rend="large">Table</hi>, about nine in <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> morning, by <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> care <lb xml:id="l11"/>of the Officers of the Mint.</p>
                
                <p xml:id="par6"><hi rend="large">About</hi> tenn, the <hi rend="large">King</hi> if he pleases, &amp; the <choice><abbr>L<hi rend="superscript">d</hi>.</abbr><expan>Lord</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Chancel<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</abbr><expan>Chancellour</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l12"/>&amp; other <choice><abbr>L<hi rend="superscript">ds</hi>.</abbr><expan>Lords</expan></choice> of the Councill appointed by <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <hi rend="large">King</hi>, take their places <lb xml:id="l13"/>at <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> table aforesaid, the Officer of the <hi rend="large">Mint, Exchequ<choice><orig><hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</orig><reg>er</reg></choice></hi> <lb xml:id="l14"/>&amp; the <hi rend="large">Iury of Goldsmiths attending.</hi></p>
                
                <p xml:id="par7"><hi rend="large">Then</hi> the <hi rend="large"><choice><abbr>L<hi rend="superscript">d</hi>.</abbr><expan>Lord</expan></choice> Chancell<choice><orig><hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</orig><reg>our</reg></choice></hi> calls to his Serjeant at Arms <lb xml:id="l15"/>for his Warrant for summoning <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <hi rend="large">Iury</hi>, &amp; appoints the same <lb xml:id="l16"/>to be deliverd to the Remembrancers <hi rend="large">deputy</hi>, who attends <lb xml:id="l17"/>with a Copy of an Oath to be given to <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Iury</p>
                
                <p xml:id="par8"><hi rend="large">The</hi> Pix-boxes are opened by <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Officers of the Mint <lb xml:id="l18"/>and <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Gold &amp; Silver monys therein poured upon the <hi rend="large">Table</hi></p>

                <p xml:id="par12"><hi rend="large">Then</hi> the <hi rend="large"><choice><abbr>L<hi rend="superscript">d</hi>.</abbr><expan>Lord</expan></choice> Chancell<choice><orig><hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.</orig><reg>our</reg></choice></hi> appoints <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <hi rend="large">Iury</hi>, when &amp; <lb xml:id="l32"/>where to attend his <choice><abbr>Lo<hi rend="superscript">p</hi>.</abbr><expan>Lordship</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi>.</abbr><expan>with</expan></choice> their <hi rend="large">Verdict, And</hi> then he departs <lb xml:id="l33"/>with <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> rest of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <hi rend="large">Lords</hi>.</p>
                
                <p xml:id="par13"><hi rend="large">When <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Iury</hi> present their <hi rend="large">Verdict</hi>, the <hi rend="large"><choice><abbr>dep<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi>.</abbr><expan>deputy</expan></choice></hi> <lb xml:id="l34"/>of the <hi rend="large">R</hi>emembrancer attends to read it, and keeps it, when <lb xml:id="l35"/>tis read.</p>
