<p rend="indent10" xml:id="par3">The Committee of the Royal Society appointed <lb xml:id="l3"/>for that purpose, finding You have not deliverd to <lb xml:id="l4"/>them a Copy of Your last Years Observations, according <lb xml:id="l5"/>to the Direction of Her Majesties most Gracious Letter <lb xml:id="l6"/>of the 12<hi rend="superscript">th</hi>. of December 1710. do hereby demand Your <lb xml:id="l7"/>compliance therewith, and now the Six Months allowed <lb xml:id="l8"/>You being Elapsed, let You know, that they expect You <lb xml:id="l9"/>will send Your Observations to the Societies House <lb xml:id="l10"/>in Crane-Court, according to the Meaning of the <lb xml:id="l11"/>said Letter.</p>

Flamsted <del type="cancelled">Yesterday</del> (July 4. 1712) at the Royal Observatory: <lb xml:id="l16"/>who returned this Answer, that he would cause a<del type="cancelled">n</del> Copy to be taken <lb xml:id="l17"/><supplied reason="faded">of his</supplied> last Years Observations, and send them accordingly to the <lb xml:id="l18"/><supplied reason="faded">Royal</supplied> Society b<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">y</add> Michaelmasse next.</p>
