<p xml:id="par1">Artic. 1. There is one God the Father <del type="cancelled">eternal</del> <add place="supralinear" indicator="no">everliving,</add> omnipresent, omniscient, almighty, the <lb xml:id="l1"/>maker of heaven &amp; earth, &amp; one Mediator between God &amp; Man the Man Christ <lb xml:id="l2"/>Iesus.</p>
<p xml:id="par2">Artic 2. The father is the invisible God whom no eye hath seen or can see, all <lb xml:id="l3"/>other beings are sometimes visible.</p>
<p xml:id="par3">Artic. 3. The Father hath life in himself &amp; hath given the son to have life <lb xml:id="l4"/>in himself.</p>
<p xml:id="par4">Artic 4 The father is omniscient &amp; hath all knowledge <del type="strikethrough">of future things</del> <lb xml:id="l5"/>originally in his own breast, &amp; communicates knowledge <del type="strikethrough">to the son</del> of future things <lb xml:id="l6"/>to <del type="strikethrough">the son</del> <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">Iesus Christ</add> &amp; none in heaven or earth or under the earth is worthy to receive <lb xml:id="l7"/>knowledge of future things immediately from the father except the Lamb.  <add place="inline interlinear" indicator="no">And therefore the testimony of Iesus is the Spirit of Prophesy &amp; Iesus is the Word or Prophet of God.</add></p>
<p xml:id="par5">Artic 5. The father is immoveable <del type="cancelled">th</del> no place being cap<del type="cancelled">l</del>able of becoming emptier <lb xml:id="l8"/>or fuller of him then it is by the eternal necessity of nature: all other <choice><sic>being</sic><corr>beings</corr></choice> are <lb xml:id="l9"/>moveable from place to place.</p>
<p xml:id="par6">Artic 6. All the worship (whether of prayer praise or thanks giving <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> was <lb xml:id="l10"/>due to the father before the coming of Christ is still due to him. Christ came not <lb xml:id="l11"/>to diminish the worship of his father.</p>
<p xml:id="par7">Artic. 7. <del type="cancelled">A</del> Prayers are most prevalent when directed to the father in the name of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> son</p>
<p xml:id="par8">Artic. 8. We are to return thanks to <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> father alone for creating us &amp; giving us <lb xml:id="l12"/>food &amp; raiment &amp; other blessings of this life &amp; whatsover we are to thank him <lb xml:id="l13"/>for or desire that he would do for us we ask of him immediately in the name of Christ</p>
<p xml:id="par9">Artic. 9. We need not pray to Christ to intercede for us. If we pray the father aright <lb xml:id="l14"/>he will intercede.</p>
<p xml:id="par10">Artic. 10. <del type="cancelled"><unclear reason="del" cert="medium">T</unclear></del> It is not necessary to salvation to direct <choice><abbr>o<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>our</expan></choice> prayers to any other then <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l15"/>father in <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> name of the son.</p>
<p xml:id="par11">Artic. 11. To give the name of God to Angels or Kings is not against <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> first command<lb xml:id="l16"/>ment. To give the worship of the God of the Iews to Angels or Kings is against it. <lb xml:id="l17"/>The meaning of the commandment is T<del type="over">o</del><add place="over" indicator="no">h</add>ou shalt worship no other Gods but me.</p>
<p xml:id="par12">Artic 12. <del type="strikethrough">To give glory <choice><sic>Christ</sic><corr>to Christ</corr></choice> &amp; the Holy Ghost</del> To us there is but one God <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> father of <lb xml:id="l18"/>whom are all things <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">&amp; we of him</add>, &amp; one Lord Iesus Christ by whom are all things &amp; we by him. <lb xml:id="l19"/><del type="strikethrough">And each have their proper worship We are</del> that is, we are to worship the father alone <lb xml:id="l20"/>as God Almighty &amp; <del type="cancelled">the Lor</del> Iesus alone as the Lord the Messiah the <del type="cancelled">king of kin</del> great King the <lb xml:id="l21"/><del type="cancelled"><gap reason="illgblDel" extent="1" unit="words"/></del> Lamb of God who was slain &amp; hath redeemed us <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi></abbr><expan>with</expan></choice> his blood &amp; <del type="strikethrough">was</del> made us kings &amp; <lb xml:id="l22"/>Priests.</p>
