<p xml:id="par3">The King was advised to send a <choice><abbr>M.</abbr><expan cert="high">Mandamus</expan></choice> to <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>Master</expan></choice> &amp; <choice><abbr>Govern<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi></abbr><expan>Governors</expan></choice> of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Charter ho<supplied reason="damage">use</supplied> <lb xml:id="l26"/>requiring <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">m</hi></abbr><expan>them</expan></choice> to admit an old <choice><abbr>Gent.</abbr><expan>Gentleman</expan></choice> to be a Pensioner.  Now every <choice><abbr>pension<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>pensioner</expan></choice> is to <lb xml:id="l27"/>take <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Oaths of <choice><abbr>Suprem.</abbr><expan>Supremacy</expan></choice> &amp; Allegiance by <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Constitution of their house, but <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l28"/>Man being a papist they refused to admitt &amp; ther's no more said of it. <lb xml:id="l29"/>The <choice><abbr>M<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi></abbr><expan>Masters</expan></choice> Name is Burnett late of Christ <choice><orig>C<hi rend="overline">oll</hi>.</orig><reg>College</reg></choice> &amp; by <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> rule of Elections in <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l30"/>giving their <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" extent="1" unit="words"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">votes</add>, he as <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> meanest man speaks first.
