Whereas Io.Iohn Pechell Dr of D.Divinity V.Vice CrChancellor of Cambr.Cambridge & MrMaster of St. Mary Magd.Magdalen Coll.College in yethe sdsaid VnivtyVniversity hath been convened before us for his disobedience to his Mtys.Majestys Royall LettrsLetters Mandatory, and other his contempts, & yethe sdsaid Dr Io.Iohn Peachell having been fully heard thereupon: Wee haue thought fit after mature Consideration of ytthat matter, to declare, decree & pronounce, ytthat yethe sdsaid Dr Io.Iohn Peachell shall for yethe sdsaid disobedience & contempt, be deprived frōom being V.Vice C.Chancellor of yethe sdsaid Vniversitie & from all power of Acting in yethe same, & also ytthat he shall be suspended ab Officio, & Beneficio of his Mp.Mastership of yethe sdsaid College, during his Mtys.Majestys pleasure, & accordingly we do by these prpresents deprive him yethe sdsaid Dr Io.Iohn Pechell frōom being VVice CrChancellor of yethe sdsaid Vnivty.Vniversity & frōom all power of acting in yethe same, & also suspend him ab Officio & Beneficio of yethe sdsaid College peremptorily admonishing him, & requiring him hereby to abstain frōom yethe Function & Execution of yethe Office of V.Vice Cr.Chancellor & frōom Acting in yethe VnivtyVniversity & also frōom his Function as Mr.Master of yethe sd.said College, during yethe sdsaid Suspension under pain of Deprivation frōom his sdsaid MrpMastership.
