|Lancaster Ss|The Informaion of Anthony Askew of Lancaster whitesmith taken upon Oath this 12.th July 1704

Who upon his Oath saith yt that {sic} in or about the month of August last, he this Inform:t hapen'd to be in Furnees fell in the company of Robert Sowerbutts late of poulton husb and upon some discourse had with the Sd Sowerbutts about one Mr Abram Sower Rawlinson, who was then in Custody of Mr Elletson Keeper of Lancaster Goale, the Sd Sowerbutts he acquainted this Inform:t that he & Mr Elletson had found a vice Some crucibles and other Suspitious things, in the Sd Mr Rawlinsons house which Vice and Crucibles the Sd Sowerbutts shewed this Inform:t Capt. &ct. coram me                                Antho: Askew Willm Buckley
