Who saith that he this Examinant has been acquainted with David Williams and has drunk with him in Flanders, and that he never knew nor Saw Joan the Wife of the said David, untill about Michaelmas Last, and that one Thomas Williams did then bring them acquainted togeather, that he this Examinant did sell one Counterfeit Shilling unto the aforesaid Thomas Williams for 6.d good money, And this Examinant further saith, that he did never Sell nor pay any Counterfeit Money to the Said Joan Williams nor to any other person for less vallue than what it resembled.           William his O mark Montfort Capt die an̄ supradict coram me J.
